I received this email on Wednesday, 27JAN2021. I received this same, exact a couple years ago by a different sender. If you operate or work for a security company, let me know if you have ever received this email. Did you think it was legit at first?

The first and second email were sent from similar, but different email addresses, and originated in two different cities in The Netherlands.

This was the first email we received.

We knew from the start that it was a scam, but we figured we play a little bit.

So, he sends us this in response. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out this is bogus.

See below.

So, the first email came from Prague, this one was sent from just outside central Eindhoven near a skatepark and an afwateringskanaal (drainage channel). I decided to play with him a little.

For the record, I didn’t really contact any law enforcement agencies, nor the State Department. Law enforcement doesn’t care as long as there are no injured parties. However, this guy may not know that, so why not have a little fun. Maybe he’ll soil himself, or maybe he’ll call my bluff. Either way, it’s still fun to mess with these guys. It really makes you wonder how many people have actually fallen for this. Apparently some do or else this wouldn’t still be circulating.
